What is holographic paper

What's Holographic Paper? 

There're two kinds of holographic paper. One is Aluminum metallized holographic film laminated together with paper cardboard. Another is hologram coating layer transfer onto paper by transfering process which is named metallic holographic transfer paper. This hologram transfer paper is environmental-friendly, easy decomposition, tasteless and innocuous which widely used in tobacco industry.

1. Laminated holographic paper. Holographic paper is lamination compound of hologram film and basepaper. It's widely used for cigarette packaging, alcohol trademarks, food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, cosmetics packaging, gift wrapping. It has good tensile strength, folding endurance and clear smooth surface.

Material: Aluminum metalized PET, OPP film on base paper as card board paper, coated paper, kraft paper,glossy paper, etc.

Material Color: silver, golden, red, gree, blue, purple holographic film.

Thickness: From 35gsm to 550gsm

Hologram Pattern: Rainbow, pillar light rainbow, dots,start, and other various holographic patterns. We also make customized design holographic paper. Hologram Patternes

Packaging: roll or sheet according to clients' requirement.

Hologram Papper width: 600mm to 1200mm or according to clients' requirement.

Application: Cosmetics, food, beverage; wine, liquor, wrapping papers, cake, chocolate, tea, greeting cards, holographic paper bag, etc

Product Characteristic and Usage:

a. Strong metallic looking, highly glossy and smooth surface.

b. Good vertical/parallel direction tensile strength, excellent folding endurance and smooth surface which meets the requirements of various types of packaging machinery.

c. Suitable for various types of printing process, such as, silk screen printing, offset printing, flexor, gravure, UV printing, embossing.

d. water-proof and alkali resistance

2.Transfer Holographic Paper. Holographic transfer paper is a kind of packing material which is environmental friendly, bio-degradable without plastic film. It's different to holographic film laminated paper. This transfer holographic paper is manufactured by transfering hologram metalized layer onto basepaper and then release PET film from base paper. So the hologram image with Aluminum coating layer is combined together with paper.

Material: Aluminum Hologram layer + coated paper, white/grey duplex board

Material Color: silver, golden, red, gree, blue, purple, etc

Thicknes: From 72 gsm to 350gsm
